Valc.designs is my designer name… you knew it, right? You were not expecting that it was my IRL name? were you?

Ok, so my name is Val, for Valerie

(* applause please for the breaking news**)

I am French, I came in Iceland in 2002, And I still live in Reykjavik now. The main difference with then, is that I have 2 kids now. I enjoy every sunny day in Iceland, this country is wonderfully amazingly stunning… I really mean it, you know! People are great to, although it took us quit a bit of time to get to know them, but things are much better now, and I can tell you, most of them are amazingly friendly.

I am a creative addicted girl, I think I have always done things by myself. Oil painting, knitting, paper scrap ( although I did not know, at this time that it was paper scrap lol).I have always done christmas card, birthday card, all those stuff with cissor and glue.

I started digi scrapping in 2005, and quite quickly designing. I have enjoyed doing freebies, template and sketch. I guess “joining a shop” was the next step, for me. ad although It took me a while to accept, I enjoy it everyday since then… it was in 2008 I think.

I found my hOme at ZZS, since November 2010, and I can’t tell you how much I love this place. The girls are Super friendly, funny, they are pure gems. The atmosphere is so great, and ideas are blooming all around.. I bet things will grow, up, fast really fast ( **hint hint stay tuned**)

I am beside designer, a digiscapper addict, and I love every minute sent on Layout. I am doing an annual year book for the kids (and us)… (at least if our computer burn, we will have those book and some photos…)
